Bionfly is a two-dimensional platform game where you control a friendly robot with a mustache and glasses, whose mission is to collect all of the onyx stones scattered around each of the twenty levels that make up Planet Phobos.
Playing the game is quite simple: you use your left thumb to control where the robot goes, and your right thumb to control the propulsion behind his jumps. Just lightly touching the screen with your right thumb will cause him to levitate just a little above the ground, while holding your thumb down for a few seconds will allow him to fly for a short period of time.
In addition to collecting all of the stones in each level, you'll need to get to the exit portal as fast as possible. That may seem extremely easy in the beginning, but it gets more and more complicated as you continue playing and run into new traps and enemies.
Bionfly's aesthetic is as charming as its protagonist, with retro-styled graphics and a soundtrack that meshes perfectly with the game itself.
Bionfly is a good platform game that, in addition to everything else, is totally free. And the ads that are inserted to help finance it aren't nearly as intrusive as the ones found in other, similar games.
